Curatorial Remarks

1. (Louise Cort, 21 May 2008) Changed Date from 11th–14th century (a mistaken entry?) to 15th–16th century, pending consultation with Don Hein.

2. (Louise Cort, 29 May 2008) Don Hein, in Washington to present the Pope Memorial Lecture, felt this was not problematic as an old piece. It would have been used as a lime-paste pot.
