Description

Polychrome covered box with molded body, flattened cover, short carved footring and recessed base. Decorated in underglaze blue and degraded overglaze red and green enamel with a roundel enclosing only traces of design on flattened cover. Six vertical panels filled alternately with lozenges and foliage designs on body.
Clay: light creamy-grey stoneware.
